Film & How Golf Socks Sales Would Be Helped

By Rob Sutter

Upon learning about golf socks, you may wonder what these can do for you in the long run. They're just socks, after all; you can just as easily wear another, right? Truth be told, those standard socks that you own are most likely going to go through a great amount of wear and tear, which means that you'll be replacing them more constantly than what you'd like. This bit of footwear may come across as unique but be certain that it will do a lot of good for the athlete in you.

"Caddyshack" is arguably the most noteworthy film about golfing and how many others are going to argue the point? The story is just as memorable as the cast of characters and they have both shown excellence while on the big screen. There is a good number of actors who people know as well, ranging from Bill Murray to Rodney Dangerfield. There is certainly star power to be seen as well and I think that advertising the aforementioned sorts of socks here would have been stellar.

I'd like to cite "Happy Gilmore" as the movie about golf which stands head and shoulders as my favorite movie about the sport. Adam Sandler played the underdog well in this regard and seeing him lose his temper on just about anything early on provided some laughs. Despite all of that, these unique socks could have been shown and marketed in this film as well. Considering all of the trouble that there seems to be in showcasing these socks, why put in so much effort?

One might not think that golf socks provide more benefits than what your standard ones can offer. However, if you take a moment to look at what PRO Compression offers, you will see that your cases of fatigue are severely diminished. You will be able to play through 18 holes or more and it won't be entirely taxing on your feet, either. While you may not hit a ball across the field like Happy Gilmore, having a little bit of a boost to help your game can't hurt.

There's no doubt in my mind that these movies are popular to great degrees. "Caddyshack" and "Happy Gilmore" are so good, in fact, that I think they could have been about any other sport and done well anyway. The ideas that this movie exhibits are ones that are altered and changed up to fit more rebellious images. Golf socks would have been marketed well in these movies that go against the grain and anyone, athletes or otherwise, would have taken to them.
