Video game characters sometimes have a great sense of speed, which makes them all the more enjoyable to control. I don't know if people are going to find the same sense of enjoyment if they're controlling someone who doesn't have a firm grasp on the concept of speed, though. Sonic has undeniably traveled at great lengths and that alone makes him a contender to utilize compression socks. He moves at such high levels that I have to believe his socks would wind up torn apart, which is something that cannot go unnoticed. His amount of vitality is something that I cannot lie about but the concern lies mostly in the constant changing of footwear he may have to do.
